Mobile Pet Grooming = Best Option?
Mobile grooming has many advantages over the traditional pet grooming service. Here are some of the benefits you and your pet will enjoy when choosing our mobile grooming service:
Your Pet Will Not Be Caged
Your pets won't have to wait hours in a cage. Animals are not as likely to become confused and frightened about where they are if they're not kept locked up in a strange place.
No Driving for You!
Unlike traditional pet grooming services in Portland Maine, we drive to you. The days of making a trip to and from the pet salon are over!
Your Pet Will Not Be Disturbed By Unfamiliar Animals
Our mobile pet grooming service focuses on one animal at a time: yours.
Your Pet Will Have The Full Focus Of Our Attention
While another pet groomer in might rush through your pet's service to get to other pets faster, we focus on only one animal at a time. We believe in quality over quantity.
Mobile grooming can be especially advantageous to anxious and easily-overwhelmed animals. Using a mobile dog groomer can save both you and your dog a lot of stress.

Why do Pets need Be Groomed?
Pet grooming isn’t just about appearance, a lack of hygiene maintenance can lead to a slew of complications such as matted hair, ear infections, knee injuries or worse. Both cats and dogs can benefit from grooming, thats why we serve both!
Our Services
You may elect to choose services a-la-cart style, or as a full service spa day for your four-legged loved one.
Breed Specific Haircuts
Our staff is trained in breed-specific cuts that will have your dog or cat looking their best. Ask about specialty cuts for pet shows.
Nail Clipping
Trimming dog nails can be difficult, especially if your dog or cat has black nails. We are experienced in safely clipping dog nails while minimizing your dog's, or cat's discomfort.
Ear Cleaning
During a cat or dog ear cleaning, we remove build-up from the ears. We also check for mites and infection.
Hair brushing
We carefully brush out the hair of your pet, removing dirt, dandruff, loose hair, and tangles.
Deshedding
This is an involved process where we remove much of the loose fur from the undercoat. After a deshedding, you can expect to save some time vacuuming!
Dematting
We carefully and safely remove mats (tangled & knotted hair) from your pet's coat.
Cat Grooming in Maine
Our grooming service isn’t just a mobile dog spa, we also have a cat groomer here, waiting to help your kitty.
We know cats groom themselves, but did you know that supplemental grooming can be crucial to your cat’s overall health?
If you’re not convinced, read our section on hairballs! They’re not as innocent as they seem.
Cats don’t need the regular bathing that dogs need, but they do need much of the other grooming services for similar reasons as dogs. Cat grooming involves regular brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming and haircuts for long haired breeds.
Brushing helps to prevent matting, fleas, and ticks. Regular coat brushing also helps with deshedding for cats with longer hair. Ear cleaning can prevent mites, infections, and help to detect concerns before they become real issues.
Dog Grooming in Maine
Dogs generally require regular grooming sessions to be as healthy as possible. A pet groomer will thoroughly clean and groom your dog to prevent complications and have them leave feeling their best.
When you go to a dog spa, there are many different hygienic services that will benefit your dog. Of course some tasks can be done at home, in fact we may recommend you implement some dog grooming at home. There are however some aspects of grooming that should not be done by an untrained person. Like stated before, improper techniques can sometimes result in irreversible damage. This is why it’s important to find a quality dog grooming service in Portland Maine to properly maintain your pet’s hygiene. Perhaps a mobile pet grooming service? We may know of one ;).
Thanks to this great general contractor in Southern Maine Patco Construction we have a brand new, stylish design to our vehicles. It was an odd job, but they really helped us out!
Dog Washing
Dogs generally require regular grooming sessions to be as healthy as possible. A pet groomer will thoroughly clean and groom your dog to prevent complications and have them leave feeling their best.
Dog Haircuts
Sometimes, frequent dog haircuts are needed. If your dog has hair that grows into their eyes, they’ll need regular trims to preserve vision and prevent eye irritation. Of course, dog haircuts are also for appearance. Breed-specific haircuts will have your dog looking marvelous. It’s best to leave the cutting to a professional at a pet salon, like one of our mobile dog groomers. An improper technique on some breeds can cause permanent damage to your dog’s coat!

Brushing Dog Teeth
Just like people, dogs can suffer from poor dental hygiene. Brushing your dog’s teeth can prevent cavities and gum disease. A lack of teeth brushing in dogs could eventually lead to a potentially life-threatening infection. Even if you’d rather do your dog grooming at home, we highly recommend having a professional check up on your pet every once in awhile to ensure their peak condition.
Preventing Dog Ear Infections
Dog Grooming Frequency?
The average dog should be groomed every four to six weeks. This time varies based on how often dog brushing occurs at home. The breed will also affect how often they need to be groomed. Dogs with thicker, longer, and faster-growing coats will obviously need to be groomed more often. Dogs with shorter coats that generally stay indoors may not need to be as frequently groomed, but if your dog loves the outdoors, you may need to take them to the spa more often.
Cat Grooming Frequency?
Cats usually need to be groomed about every six to eight weeks. This time can also be affected by the cat’s coat. Long haired cats generally need more maintenance. Indoor cats often don’t grind their claws enough and may require more frequent claw trimming
